Ari Cebollero, an artist born and raised in Northwest Indiana/Chicagoland Area, has been passionate about the arts since early childhood. He has a BFA from the American Academy of Art in Chicago. During his early years, he would destroy complete notebooks with circles and scribbles. Numerous scoldings and ruined notebooks later, he decided to study the human form and structure. Read more

I decided to experiment with thinner paper, but at a larger scale than my normal gray toned paper. This video shows my ink work on the barn owl at the final stages prior to inking.

I love the colors of the sunset and sunrise. The end and the beginning of an event is symbolized with those colors (pink and blue). The palette selection also allows me to use warm and cool colors as shadows and highlights.Ari Cebollero on significance of colors usage
I've always been obsessed with finding symbolism in music and art. Channeling additional emotion hidden through symbols are kind of like an easter egg hunt. I enjoy hearing a viewer's interpretation of what those symbols appear to be. From the repetition of scribbles/circles in an ouroboros-esuque fashion, to letters depicting initials/encrypted words and objects inside the drawing or out in the background.
